Aluminum can be cast in sand, but if a higher dimensional stability and surface quality is required, then gravtiy die casting offers a solution. With gravrity die casting, wall thicknesses from 3mm can be casted. MVH offers the possibility to supply gravity die castings including machining and surface treatment.
